T-ARA to hold ‘Arena Concert Tour’ in Japan next year

It was revealed by Core Contents Media on August 2nd that T-ARA will be embarking on an ‘Arena Concert Tour’ in Japan next year.

Core Contents Media expressed that T-ARA’s Japanese agencies, EMI Japan, and J-ROCK are currently in the midst of preparing for this ‘Arena Concert Tour’ and they are targeting a total of 150,000 fans.

The ‘Arena Concert Tour’ is something that only the top ranked artists with a sufficient amount of clout can hold. The venue is expected to house around 10 - 20,000 fans and there is anticipation that it could be held continuously in cities around Japan.

The T-ARA girls have already gone on a concert tour last June where they performed in Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sendai, Sapporo and culminating in the Japan Budokan from July 25th to 26th.

The Budokan is a significant venue as it is considered the pinnacle of a dream stage for most Japanese singers. Although T-ARA’s Budokan concerts were held on weekdays , all 20,000 tickets for both days were sold out in a flash.

T-ARA made their debut in Japan last September with ‘Bo Peep Bo Peep’ and charted at the top of the Oricon immediately. They then followed up with songs like ‘YaYaYa’, ‘Roly-Poly’, ‘Lovey Dovey’ and more and have gotten lots of love from their Japanese fans.

T-ARA have now ended their group promotions for ‘Day By Day’ while members like Soyeon, Eunjung, and Hyomin will be focusing now on their respective dramas like‘Haeundae Lovers’, ‘Five Fingers’ and ‘The Thousandth Man’.

As for the issue of ‘Hwayoung being ostracized’, Core Contents Media expressed, “Through this, we hope that T-ARA will learn to reflect and become more mature as a result. T-ARA will work even harder from now on and repay fans for their support with great songs.”
