“Seoul International Drama Awards 2012” has thrown its star-studded ceremony at the National Theater of Korea in Seoul on August 30th.
It marked the 7th anniversary of “Seoul International Drama Awards2012” and has now become one of the most anticipated annual international events for drama fans. For the sake of promoting great cultural exchange, except for local Korean dramas, there were also drama submissions from over the world, so that more Korean get to know about the dramas from other countries as well as for foreigners to learn about some Korean drama.
It is confirmed that the short lists of Korean dramas including “Deep Rooted Tree”, “Moon Embracing the Sun”, “The Princess' Man” were entered as three of the 24 finalists.
In addition, actor Shin Ha Kyun from “Brain” and actress Ha Ji Won from “King 2 Hearts” won the Best Actor and Best Actress awards while Best Hallyu Drama Actor and Actress awards went to Park Yoo Chun and his co-star, Han Ji Min in “Rooftop Prince”.
