Super Junior Blows Away the Competition in Album Sales for Month of July

Super Junior hasn′t lost its title of album sales king yet.

According to Gaon Chart’s chart ranking update for monthly album sales, Super Junior’s sixth album, Sexy, Free & Single blew away all competition by selling 335,744 copies for the month of July, giving the group a first place finish for the month of July.

Since its release in the second week of July, Sexy, Free & Single has also been first in the weekly chart for the past three weeks.

Sexy, Free & Single’s astronomical sales for July were almost five times that of its closest competitor, B2ST’s Midnight Sun which was second with 67,835 copies sold.

Following behind in third was 2PM’s Wooyoung’s 23, Male, Single with 47,956 albums sold, T-ara’s Day by Day in fourth with 34,181 and Psy’s Psy 6甲 Part.1 in fifth with 29,875 copies purchased.




Over in the monthly download chart, 2NE1’s I Love You was July’s winner with the song being downloaded 1,522,263 times to best T-ara and Psy.
