F.CUZ’s “Dreaming I” MV deemed unfit for broadcast

Twelve hours before it was set to be revealed on KBS and other networks, F.CUZ‘ music video for “Dreaming I” has been deemed unfit for broadcast.

A representative for the group stated on August 9, “Before F.CUZ’ release of ‘Dreaming I’ on the 10th… the music video has been officially deemed unfit to air…”

KBS announced the same day on their online message board: “[We’ve made this ruling because the music video could have a negative influence on teenagers,” officially banning the MV from airing. The MV features a story line in which the members go against the grain in order to pursue their dreams. The problematic scenes included member Yejun skipping class as well as the portrayal of a high school student with dyed hair, which is not allowed in South Korea.

Can Entertainment commented, “Though we’re surprised by the sudden ban, we’ll delete the scenes deemed unfit, make amendments, and enter it again for review.”

F.CUZ will release their album online on August 10 KST. Watch their comeback stage on this week’s ‘Music Bank‘, and their previously released teaser here.
