Younha Becomes Youngest Singer on ‘I Am a Singer 2’ and First Former ‘Immortal Song 2’ Contestant

Younha has joined the professional singing competition show I am a Singer 2.

Sources from MBC revealed the news on August 2 which would make the 1988-born singer the youngest contestant in the history of the show.

The show’s director, Kim Young Hee, previously stated in past interviews during the first season of the show that Younha was among the artists he wanted to bring in to the show.

In addition, the singer will have the honor of being the first and, so far, only competing singer who will have appeared in both KBS’ Immortal Song 2 and MBC’s I am a Singer 2.

Younha will take part in her first recording for the show on August 6. The next episode of the show will air on August 5 in which popera singer Kai (not to be confused with the EXO-K member) will make his debut on the show.
