Super Junior’s Donghae is a Doting Grandson in New ‘Ms. Panda and Mr. Porcupine’

New still cuts of Super Junior’s Donghae with his drama grandfather, veteran actor Park Keun Hyung, have been revealed.

Donghae plays the prickly but genius-like pastry chef, Koh Seung Ji in the upcoming Channel A drama Ms. Panda and Mr. Porcupine, and also plays the grandson of a bakery shop owner, Park Byung Moo (Park Keun Hyung).

Affectionately calling his grandfather, ‘grandpops’, the two characters share a warm and close relationship with Koh Seung Ji openly saying “I love you” to his grandfather without embarrassment.

With Park Keun Hyung not only being several years Donghae’s senior in age but acting experience as well, Donghae is said to be very accommodating towards his senior and is constantly striving to learn from the acting veteran.

A drama production staff member shared, “Not only is there an age difference but Park Keun Hyung is also much experienced senior, but he holds a lot of warm feelings for the hardworking Donghae and dishes out a lot of friendly advice making them seem like they have completely immersed themselves into their character. The two will shine even more brightly on screen.”

The drama also stars Yun Seung Ah as Donghae’s love interest. The drama will premiere on August 18.
