It was reported that 2PM’s Nichkhun has come to terms on a settlement with the motorcyclist whom he had gotten into an accident with last week while driving under the influence.
Nichkhun’s agency, JYP Entertainment said on August 2nd, “A settlement was reached with the motorcyclist who was involved in the accident with Nichkhun. JYP Entertainment’s legal department personally visited the motorcyclist and came to terms on a settlement. Nichkhun will still adhere to his original plans and will not be participating in the upcoming ‘JYP Nation’ concert. He has no plans for any activities for the time being either.
The company also revealed, “As for whether the police will be calling Nichkhun to the police station on August 3rd for follow-up investigations, we are not certain as yet as they have yet to contact us about it.”
The traffic investigation department at Kangnam Police Station has stated that they have no plans to call Nichkhun in for investigations for the time being.
Nichkhun was driving home in the early morning hours of July 24th when he collided with a motorcycle at an intersection in Hakdong. The injured motorcyclist was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment while Nichkhun was discovered to be driving under the influence. Nichkhun’s driving license was subsequently suspended as his blood alcohol level of 0.056% was over the permitted legal limit. JYP Entertainment acted quickly in the aftermath after learning of it.
