Behind The Scenes of Rain′s ′R2B: Return to Base′ Revealed

Before the jet fighter action blockbuster R2B: Return To Base is released in theaters on August 15, fans will be able to have a sneak peek at the behind-the-scenes of the movie.

On August 4 at 11 am, tvN will be featuring a special documentary, 500 Days of R2B: Return To Base, to give the anxiously awaiting fans a look at what’s in store in the actual movie, and to let them in on the backstage happenings that took place during the filming.



The documentary will show the intense training that actors Jung Ji Hoon (Rain), Yoo Joon Sang and others went through in preparation of flying a jet fighter.

It will also show the film production crew working closely with the film crew behind Inception and The Dark Knight, and also the Air Force Wolf Pack jet fighter team.

In addition, there will be exclusive interviews with some of the main cast, and snippets of how the CG effects were made to create footage of dogfights in the Seoul sky.

The documentary narration will be done by Lee Ha Na, the sole female jet fighter pilot featured in the movie.

The documentary aims to provide potential movie-goers with fun facts and action clips that will make their movie experience more enjoyable.

Another reason why Rain fans and Yoo Joon Sang fans should watch the documentary is it will feature the two fighting, martial-arts style, topless and showing off their rock-solid abs.

Rain is widely known to have one of the best bodies in the industry, while Yoo Joon Sang also confessed to have trained particularly hard for that scene alone.

Other fun behind-the-scenes clips will include those of Lee Jong Seok, who is usually shown to be the one who gets into all sorts of trouble. Lee Jong Seok’s character will be catching snakes, fully submerged into mud, covered with explosion debris, and more.

The tvN documentary 500 Days of R2B: Return To Base, will be shown on August 4 at 11 am, only on tvN.
