‘K-Pop Star’ finalist Baek Ah Yeon joins Twitter + writes a handwritten letter to fans

Soloist Baek Ah Yeon, who was a Top 3 finalist in season one of ‘K-Pop Star‘, has opened her very own Twitter account.

The first tweet for the singer was a teaser photo of her upcoming debut album titled ‘I’m Baek‘, which is scheduled for release on September 10th.

Shortly thereafter, she then updated her Twitter with a second tweet in which she attached a scan of her handwritten letter to her fans.

The letter read:

To. Everyone~

To the fans I miss so much! Hello!

I, Ah Yeon, have finally returned to you guys!! I’m Baek!! >< I know a lot of you must have been very curious to know how I’ve been, so thank you for patiently waiting.

During this time, I’ve been working hard on my debut album to show you all my improved and matured self.

Now, there aren’t a lot of days until I stand before you all! I’m also very eager and am patiently waiting for that day to come, so let’s wait a bit more and when we meet, let’s let out all the things we wanted to say to each other!!! ^^

I’m working very hard to live up to expectations! Please look forward to it! I have one last thing I want to say.

IU burns her pajamas cooking ramen

Clumsy IU has struck again. The singer recently posted photos of her pajamas, which she shared caught on fire while she was cooking ramen.

IU posted to Twitter on September 3: “Do you smell something burning? My pajamas are burning… while cooking ramen… ke ke… I’ll say it was caused by an accident during a concert.”

Fans commented, “You’re not hurt right?” and “This and clumsy IU.. Please be careful.”

Psy officially joins Twitter

Fans everywhere can now follow their favorite ‘Gangnam Oppa’ on Twitter!

Singer Psy who just released the ‘HyunA version’ MV for “Gangnam Style” has just opened his very own Twitter account.

He greeted his fans with a first tweet that said, “This is Psy… I started Twitter but… It always takes me so long to learn these kinds of things…PSY of GANGNAM from KOREA~…Hehehe.”

Psy then responded to a tweet from fellow label mate Tablo, and congratulated HaHa on his upcoming nupitals.

The Asian Prince himself, Jang Geun Suk, also welcomed Psy to Twitter.

Following Core Contents Media‘s announcement of Hwayoung leaving the group T-ara, Hwayoung posted a quick sentence on Twitter that seemed to summarize her thoughts on the matter.

“…facts without any truth,” she stated simply. Although the context of her tweet is unknown, it is not hard to link it to CCM’s recent press release relaying the reasons behind her withdrawal from T-ara.

G.NA holds a photo shoot in the comfort of her own home?

Nothing can seem to veil solo artist G.NA‘s amazing figure.

On July 24th, the singer tweeted, “A photo shoot at home before my schedule? I’m not in my right mind right now. Long, feminine dresses are so comfortable,” along with the photos above.

G.NA looked rather comfortable at home, taking several shots in different angles to feature different facial expressions. The long dress is clearly a cool and comfortable choice of clothing for G.NA, but it still could not hide her shapely and glamorous body.

2PM‘s Nichkhun recently revealed a family photo, while wishing his sister a Happy Birthday.

KARA&#8217;s Seungyeon updates with selca after hospital visit

Kara’s Seungyeon recently posted a bare-faced selca on Twitter along with the words ‘Report of Survival‘.

In the photo, Seungyeon sports a pink baseball cap and a loose-fitting gray top. What’s drawn the attention of most viewers is her bare face, void of make-up.

Sandara Park and B2ST send wreaths in support of MBLAQ&#8217;s concert

After successfully completing the first day of “THE BLAQ% TOUR” in Seoul, MBLAQ‘s agency J. Tune shared the above photo and tweeted “Thank you to all the fans who attended and let’s have fun today also!”

The photo was of the congratulatory wreaths sent to MBLAQ for their concert and it looks like Thunder‘s very own big sister sister Sandara Park (Dara) and boy group B2ST sent in their wreaths.

Sandara’s wreath had a very affectionate message for her younger brother, “Chundoongah~ I love youuuuuuuu~”. Sandara also didn’t fail to take the opportunity to dub herself “The big sis who’s pretty even with her hair half shaved off”, referring to her new hairdo for 2NE1′s comeback.

U-KISS member Dong Ho recently uploaded a set of selcas he took during a baseball game.

KARA&#8217;s Gyuri coolly reprimands anti-fans on Twitter

While most idols usually choose to ignore the hatemail they receive on the internet, KARA‘s leader Gyuri decided to calmly fire back at anti-fans on Twitter today with a wise anecdote about the Buddha.

Just hours before, the idol tweeted a few posts in response to the negative messages that she received on the social media site.

“I can’t understand what goes on in the heads of people who throw a mention at me, and put words that they know I would dislike just for fun. They say it’s just a joke, but they never think twice about what it feels like on the receiving end, are their thoughts that immature[?] What kind of response is it that they want to see from me?

Religion is not unrelated to today’s story – this happened when the Buddha was alive. One day, a gangster man went to the Buddha and cursed at him. But [the Buddha] seemed to not mind.

Instead he continued, ‘Whenever this customer came, the server would give the customer food… if the customer doesn’t accept it, who does it belong to?’ The man replied, ‘Of course, it’s mine again.’

Then the Buddha spoke softly, ‘In the same way, you hurl insults at me, but I don’t receive them. They still remain with you.’ The man knelt down and prayed to the Buddha.”

Gyuri concluded her series of tweets with a direct message toward the anti-fans at hand.

“If I say or write other negative things … it makes me carry hearts filled with these unhappy moments; instead of happiness, I would absorb the misery and waste my time with such people. There is someone who probably had an unhappy time today, but for me, I lived my life to the fullest even today, so I’m going to take a deep rest!

I will give back in double to my family and those that have faith and love for me. In the spirit of sharing good things with others hehe we did well today too good night!”

We’ve gotta give it to Gyuri for giving such a calm retort. It’s awesome to see idols put down haters and remain inspiring at the same time!

JYJ&#8217;s Kim Jaejoong offers a sneak peek into the next episodes of &#8216;Dr. Jin&#8217;

 

On July 10th, JYJ‘s Kim Jaejoong shared the above photo from the set of Dr. Jin via his Twitter and wrote, “I think episode 15 and 16 will be fun.”

Jaejoong’s face in the photo appears to be badly bruised, making fans curious as to how the story will unfold.
