Kim Hyun Joong‘s second Japanese single album ‘HEAT‘ has sold over 200,000 copies.
According to the Oricon chart, ‘HEAT’, which was released back in July, is the best-selling K-pop album of 2012 in Japan thus far with 20,580 copies sold.
An insider commented, “In the competitive Japanese album market, [Kim Hyun Joong has topped the list of K-pop music acts]. He’s currently surprising the album producers and staff with his ongoing record.”
In related news, Kim Hyung Joong departed for Japan this past July to work on the live-action version of the manga ‘City Conquest‘.
