Seoul Mayor Park Won Soon adds Lee Hyori’s book to his vacation reading list

Singer Lee Hyori was a bit embarrassed when the mayor of Seoul, Park Won Soon, revealed that he’ll be reading her book during his break.

On July 26th, Hyori tweeted, “I see that my book is included in Mayor Park Won Soon’s vacation reading list. Hehe. I’m embarrassed.”

On July 25th, Mayor Park Won Soon revealed a list of the thirteen books he plans to read on his summer break, which starts on August 1st, through Facebook. His reading list has been drawing attention for including Lee Hyori’s book ‘Closer‘. Mayor Park also revealed that he will be reading Lee Hyori’s recommendation, ‘A Bull That Dreams‘ by Sean Kenniff.

Fans commented on Lee Hyori’s tweet, “Congratulations,” “I should order ‘Closer’ too,” and “What an honor to have the mayor read it.”

‘Closer’ features stories from the daily life of Lee Hyori and her now-famous, adopted dog Soonshim as well as details of the star’s involvement in animal rights.

Hyori praises K. Will for his vocal talent and cute looks on ‘You and I’

On the latest episode of SBS‘ ‘You and I‘ aired on the 23rd, Hyori attracted attention with her compliments for singer K.Will.

In her introduction for K.Will’s performance, Hyori stated, “This person is the [king of high keys]. He has a cute face, but [his vocals] are the best. He’s [the best].”

After watching his strong performance, netizens seemed to agree with Hyori as they commented, “K.Will definitely deserves the high praise by Hyori,” “K.Will sings really well,” and “K.Will is cute.”

Tiger JK reveals that Hyori once declined a song he offered her

Hip hop artist Tiger JK jokingly expressed his sadness at Hyori‘s declining of a song he once offered to her on ‘You and I‘.

Hyori revealed during the broadcast, “I had a hard time even asking Tiger JK for a song. I was worried that he wouldn’t give me a song since I wasn’t even a hip-hop artist, but he gave me one with Yoon Mi Rae singing as a guide.”

She added, “I knew I couldn’t sing this better than Yoon Mi Rae, so that’s why I declined.”

However, Tiger JK replied sadly, “My pride was hurt. I spent the whole night and woke my wife up to do the guide recording.”

The other MC, Jung Jae Hyung, then asked Tiger JK, “Weren’t you a fan of Lee Hyori,” to which the hip-hop artist answered jokingly, taking a stab at Hyori, “A long time ago.”

Sexy diva Hyori recently participated in a pictorial for sunglasses and apparel brand, Oakley, and is sure to turn heads with her beautiful figure.

The pictorial shows Hyori giving off a chic and charismatic aura along with her colorful sunglasses and casual, yet sexy outfits.

An Oakley representative stated, “Although Hyori has already grabbed the position as a top fashionista, this photoshoot confirmed her fashion sense once again, and her presence during the shoot impressed us.”
