200,000 fans flock to see SHINee on first Japan tour


Five-member boy band SHINee has completed its first arena tour of Japan.

The group performed 20 concerts, stopping off at Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo and Hiroshima, and attracting 200,000 people.

SHINee, which debuted in Japan in June 2011 with “Replay (Kimi-wa Boku-no Everything),” has a large fanbase in the country. The tour began on April 25, and additional dates were scheduled in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka after tickets sold out for the initial concerts. In Nagoya, three additional concerts were held.

“SHINee became the first Korean group to gather 200,000 people at its first Japan arena tour,” said S.M. Entertainment, the group’s management company.

During the tour’s finale at Hiroshima Green Arena on June 30 and July 1, the group performed 29 songs including “Replay (Kimi-wa Boku-no Everything),” “Lucifer” and “Juliette.” The group also performed solo songs as well as new single “Sherlock,” which was released on May 16.

SHINee will hold “SHINee Concert-SHINee World II” on July 21 and July 22 at Seoul Olympic Park Gymnasium.

CHI CHI’s Shine shows her love for ‘Infinity Challenge’





Girl group CHI CHI‘s member Shine displayed love for MBC‘s ‘Infinity Challenge‘ on her Twitter.


On July 19th, Shine tweeted a caricature of the ‘Infinity Challenge’ members that she had drawn herself, saying, “I’m so happy that ‘Infinity Challenge’ is finally starting again, so I drew a picture of the members. Does it look like them?


Shine’s drawing drew more attention for her accurate portrayal of each member and their unique characteristics. She also included the official ‘Infinity Challenge’ emblem and the word “forever” in her drawing, a message to show her support of the TV show, returned after 24 weeks of re-runs.


Shine even gave the drawing to ‘Infinity Challenge’ member Park Myung Soo as a gift, a warm gesture that proves how much of a fan she is.

CHI CHI’s Shine impresses fans with her drawing skills





CHI CHI‘s Shine has impressed netizens with her amazing drawing skills.


Shine shared on her Twitter,“I am so happy that many people wished me a happy birthday~~!!!<3 To return the favor, I uploaded a picture I drew when I was 16″, along with a photo of one of her drawings.


Shine’s drawing shows a woman adorned with an intricate flower on her head and staring with a composed expression, leaving netizens impressed at the amount of detail and artistry that are shown in this piece.


Netizens commented, “It looks like a real photo”, “Her face is pretty and she is talented at drawing as well”, and “It looks like we have an idol artist.”
