Suzy puts ‘big feet’ rumors to rest on ‘Invincible Youth 2′

Miss A‘s Suzy complained about rumors of her ‘big feet.’

On the August 11th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Invincible Youth 2‘, the members enjoyed sightseeing with the high school girls’ handball team.

During a time where they could talk about what’s on their minds, Suzy called Boom out and confessed how she was upset about something he said about her in the past.

Suzy shared, “Because of what Boom said when we were Korean wrestling during the winter, I got nicknamed as ‘big feet’.” Then, Jewelry‘s Yewon scolded Boom by saying, “That’s a fatal nickname for girls.”

Suzy continued, “At that time, you saw my shoes and said it was 285mm. There were a lot of articles about that. So the people call me 285mm. My feet are 249.9mm big!” and made everyone else erupt in laughter.

Boom, Park Jae Min, and MBLAQ’s Mir to MC for upcoming show, ‘All the K-Pop’

For the first time since his debut 15 years ago, Boom will be holding his very first main MC position for MBC Music‘s upcoming program, ‘All the K-Pop‘.

Scheduled to begin broadcasting on August 8th, Boom will be emceeing alongside Seoul University student and b-boy Park Jae Min as well as MBLAQ‘s Mir. The show will focus on introducing the various stars and trends that have been happening in K-Pop from 1990 to the current year.

Producers felt Boom would be the perfect fit to lead the program, as he’s been in the industry since the ’90s. Having debuted in 1998, he’s released various albums to date and has starred in numerous variety shows.

Boom expressed his confidence in the show and in himself as he joked, “The ’90s have been trending lately, and I feel that Boom’s generation has finally arrived. I’m never going to be pushed aside from my spot in the center now. ‘All the K-Pop’ and myself will be at the top.”

Fellow MC Park Jae Min is an actor and b-boy who graduated with a Masters from Seoul University. He’s currently a full-time professor of dancing and the arts at the Seoul Art Technical College.

Mir will be reporting on the K-Pop wave in Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Chile, and other locations.

KARA’s Jiyoung gets slapped in the face

Kang Jiyoung of KARA was recently slapped in the face with a broom, shocking fans.

On the the most recent broadcast of KBS2‘s ‘Invincible Youth 2‘, MCs Lee Young Ja, Boom, and all members of G5 took time to clean for guests who were coming to visit.

The two youngest members of G5, Jiyoung and Suzy were assigned to clean the interior of the house. While the two were sweeping away cheerfully, Suzy accidently slapped Jiyoung in the face.

Taken aback by the situation, Suzy immediately embraced Jiyoung and apologized for her mistake. In response, Jiyoung brightly smiled back as if to comfort her guilt-ridden friend, confirming the two idols’ true friendship.

2AM’s Jo Kwon sheds tears after receiving a surprise visit from Jinwoon on ‘Strong Heart’

2AM‘s Jo Kwon shed a few hot tears when fellow group member Jinwoon made a surprise appearance during his shoot for SBS ‘Strong Heart‘.

On the July 10th broadcast, Jo Kwon remarked, ”I’ve never once fought with the 2AM members during our 4 years together“. He added, “But there was one time I was saddened by them.”

He continued, “I stayed up nearly 3 days and nights filming my solo MV, but they never even stopped by once. I talked to Wooyoung who was also filming a MV, and he said all the 2PM members came to see him, so I became really sad.”

Jo Kwon continued to express his hurt feelings saying, “I even texted them on the last day of my shoot, but still no one came.”

After his rant, Boom announced that he had a surprise for the singer. “We invited a special guest just for you Jo Kwon,” he said. “Who do you want to see the most right now?”

Naturally, Jo Kwon answered that he missed his 2AM members the most, and suddenly, fellow group member Jinwoon made his entrance from the back of the stage.

Seeing the flowers in Jinwoon’s hands, Jo Kwon could not hold back the emotional tears that began to flow from his eyes.

Jo Kwon admitted, “It was really difficult preparing for my solo album, and I thought of my members a lot.” Jinwoon then handed Jo Kwon the audience members the individually wrapped roses asking them to cheer on Jo Kwon for his solo promotions.

“Your solo song and the choreography are all very cool,” Jinwoon said. He then stated he had one more thing to say. As Jo Kwon anticipated, Jinwoon shouted, “Wooyoung, fighting!” making the studio laugh at his joking betrayal of Jo Kwon and Wooyoung to stand up and give him a high five.

The two 2AM members then confirmed their friendship and loyalty as they hugged each other warmly.
