KARA’s Seungyeon talks about her insecurities regarding her height

KARA‘s Seungyeon confessed that she often wore 5 inch heels in an attempt to appear taller.

On the September 4th broadcast of SBS TV ‘Strong Heart‘, KARA’s Seungyeon remarked, “I think the one thing you need to have as a girl group member is tall height. When you are taller, you look better, your clothes fit better, and your presence is different.”

She continued, “I’m the shortest in the group, so I look as though I have no presence. Because of this, I have always stubbornly chosen to wear the highest heels and have fallen and slipped a number of times, as a result.”

Wearing high shoes has also had a toll on her physical well being. “I started wearing 5-inch heels, and I started feeling pain in my ankles,” she added. “I went to the hospital, where they told me that the high heels were becoming too much for my ankles to bear.”

She explained that she began to think more about whether or not she needed to continue wearing heels when she read an article about how she and Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk were considered to be average height in Korea. “I’m 160cm (~5’3″), and I am of average height for a Korean female,” Seungyeon added. “My friends are just too tall, it’s not that I am short. I decided to think optimistically.”

KARA’s Goo Hara talks about the dating style of current boyfriend, B2ST’s Yong Junhyung

KARA member Goo Hara talked about the dating style of her current boyfriend, who happens to be rapper Yong Junhyung of B2ST.

On the September 4th broadcast of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, Goo Hara became curious as to why Lee Jung Jin had selected her as his ideal type. Lee Jung Jin, however, gave her a disappointing answer as he admitted his ideal type changes frequently, and said, “My dating style is very similar to what they call the ‘bad guy’ type.”

MC Shin Dong Yup then asked Hara about the dating style of B2ST’s Junhyung who she is in a public relationship with.

“He does not plan any surprise events for me,” she said. “Girls like that kind of stuff, but we’re so busy that we don’t even have much time to date.”

Why did fans call MBLAQ’s Lee Joon a ‘pervert’?

MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon revealed that his fans called him a “pervert”.

During filming for the upcoming September 4th broadcast of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, Lee Joon detailed, “I prepared a performance to show an unexpected side of myself at a concert. After the event, I saw the reaction, and I was called a ‘pervert’.”

Lee Joon then performed the mentioned routine for actress Jo Min Soo, who smiled as she said, “The idol I’ll like from now on is Lee Joon.”

On the August 14th broadcast of the show, Leeteuk’s face radiated with confidence as he unveiled his flawless ‘chocolate abs’ to steal the attention of fans and viewers alike.

The ladies on set could not hide their shock upon setting eyes on Leeteuk’s new body, and praised him on his hard work.

After School’s Lizzy reveals her 3-step technique to looking sexy

After School‘s Lizzy who is now a legal adult revealed the necessary steps to becoming a sexy vixen.

On the July 24th broadcast of SBS TV‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, Lizzy admitted that on Coming-of-Age Day, she changed her concept to fall in line with something a bit more high-class and sexy.

When asked about it more in detail, the singer revealed her 3-step secret to looking fierce and sensual. “First, you lift your chin a little bit and blue your eyes. Then put your hands together, turn your body a little, and the last killer move is to wink.”

Her short lesson caused the entire set to explode into laughs, and Lizzy adorably added on, “If you make your facial expression look like you’re ready to bite the guy, I think that really looks sexy.”

In related news, Lizzy also confidently confessed that she think she has the best figure within After School, thanks to her ‘million dollar’ butt.

Solbi explains why she didn’t initially address sex video rumors on ‘Strong Heart’

Solbi revealed her thoughts on past sex video rumors on the July 24th broadcast of SBS‘ ’Strong Heart‘.

She stated, “I had a two-year hiatus. My image was cemented as a [girl who says what's on her mind], so there were many misunderstandings that gave me a hard time, and it was hard to deal with the fake Solbi video.”

A sex video of a woman who looked similar to Solbi was spread on the internet under the title “Solbi Video” in 2009.

Solbi went on, “Because the video was not real, I didn’t feel like explaining myself. I thought that these kinds of things are what celebrities have to deal with.”

Super Junior reveals they nearly broke up because of a misunderstanding

The Super Junior members revealed that they nearly split up over a few misunderstandings.

On the July 24th broadcast of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, the Super Junior members opened up saying, “We were on the verge of breaking up because of an argument we had right before a live performance.”

“Leeteuk once got really mad right before an Inkigayo shoot,” Eunhyuk said. “The members continually joked around with him to the point where he inevitably grew angry.”

He continued, “It wasn’t me that was causing mischief, but Leeteuk misunderstood and thought it was me and got angry. Kyuhyun was the one causing most of the trouble, and Leeteuk made up with him but left me alone so it made me upset.”

Leeteuk who was listening to Eunhyuk share this story explained, “I was trying not to grow angry at their fun and games, but it didn’t stop so I eventually exploded. I got mad at Kyuhyun and my emotions got the best of me so I stepped outside, when I found Kyuhyun he was crying and so I comforted him.”

“At that moment, I realized that these continuous misunderstandings and agitated emotions are what could cause our group to break up,” Leeteuk continued. “It was only 10 minutes before the live performance, and I felt bad that I could not make it up to Eunhyuk but there was just not enough time.”

In order to make Eunhyuk feel better, Leeteuk decided that he would ask Eunhyuk to say the speech after they earned the #1 K-Chart win. When Leeteuk asked him, Eunhyuk looked unenthused, and his thank-you speech was given with an expressionless face that was rather dry and formal. This only caused the atmosphere within the group to become more tense.

Fellow member Shindong then remarked, “These little misunderstandings caused such big fights that it was really upsetting. After that happened, we were able to bond our friendship more tightly on other variety programs.”

After School’s Lizzy ranks her body proportions as #1 among her group members

During the July 24th filming of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, After School‘s Lizzy revealed her thoughts on how her figure ranked among her fellow members.

Lizzy shared, “Compared to members Nana and UEE, [people] think I have an average body. But I rank my figure as #1. My butt, especially, looks like a million bucks,” creating laughter on set by confidently complimenting her own body.

Lizzy also shared a photo of her glamorous body in a sexy lingerie look for After School’s new single, “Flashback“.

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and After School’s Lizzy discuss the times they weren’t recognized as celebrities

On the July 17th episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun and After School‘s Lizzy discussed the times that they were unrecognized as celebrities.

Lizzy shared, “I regularly commute by bus and because I wish to be recognized, I go around wearing full makeup. But there’s no one who recognizes me. Even when I stand in front of advertisement billboards that I feature in and talk in a loud voice, there’s no one who recognizes me.”

She went on to reveal another funny story: “Recently before my comeback stage, I was greeting my fellow idols roughly when I injured my toenail and was sent to the emergency room in full makeup and my stage outifit. Even then, the nurse didn’t realize I was an After School member and asked me if I was participating in a talent show.”

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun also shared a similar experience, “I ran into two foreign trainees at my company, and I found it strange when they asked me about my nationality. One time while I was having lunch with the other Super Junior members, I received an eye signal from one of the trainees to not sit with the other members. I later realized that those foreign trainees didn’t know I was a Super Junior member. What’s more, I was wearing full makeup at the time.”

On the July 17th broadcast of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, After School member Jung Ah shocked the other guests on set when she revealed, “There was once a female fan who got on her knees and proposed to me. She asked me to marry her.”

Fellow member Lizzy who has also had her share of bizarre run-ins with a few die-hard fans then added, “There was once a Japanese fan who had my name tattooed on their body.”

Hearing this, MC Shin Dong Yup then remarked, “There could be another tattoo somewhere else on their body,” causing his co-host Lee Dong Wook to hilariously chime in, “They could possibly have ‘Jung Ah’ tattooed on their backside.”

Leeteuk selects the members who make the least within Super Junior, Jung Ah reveals who makes the most in After School

Super Junior & After School revealed the members who make the most and least within their respective groups.

On the ‘Stars Ask The Stars’ corner of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ that aired on July 17th, Super Junior was asked about the members’ profits.

Member Shindong suggested Kyuhyun made a good profit saying, “Kyuhyun’s father has an academy, and he also has one in Southeast Asia.”

Kyuhyun then explained, “I didn’t have any major promotions. Including things like my activities in China, I rank somewhere between 2-5 [within Super Junior] when it comes to profit.”

Leader Leeteuk then hilariously joked, “The bottom slot is a tie between Shindong and Eunhyuk,” causing everyone to laugh.

MC Shin Dong Yup then asked the After School members Jung Ah and Lizzy about the profit rankings within their own team, and leader Jung Ah honestly responded, “It’s UEE of course. She makes close to 10 times more than everyone.”

After School’s Jung Ah once dated a man 7 years her junior

It turns out After School‘s Jung Ah is into younger men.

On the July 17th broadcast of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, After School member Jung Ah revealed her ideal type. “I have a lot of younger dongsengs around me, so I would like a dependable younger man for a boyfriend,” she said.

Fellow group member Lizzy who calmly listened to Jung Ah explain her ideal type then suddenly blurted, “She is an expert when it comes to younger men!”

Despite looking a bit taken aback by Lizzy’s remark, the 29 year old Jung Ah admitted that she once even received a love confession from a young 19 year old.

She then revealed, “I once dated a guy 7 years younger than me,” shocking everyone on set. “As long as he is not a minor, I am open to dating a younger man.”

Super Junior’s Shindong talks about how he almost broke up with his girlfriend

Super Junior‘s Shindong who publicly announced his relationship in the past opened up about a time he and his girlfriend nearly broke up.

On the July 17th broadcast of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, the singer began, “There was once a time where a huge misunderstanding had brewed between my girlfriend and I, and we nearly broke up. To be honest, I had told our friends and everyone around us that we really did break up.”

“My girlfriend had heard some rumors that I was with another woman, and she began to become suspicious,” he explained. “As [Super Junior] began promoting more and more overseas, it became harder for us to contact one another. Then I saw on her SNS (Social Networking Site) that she had posted a photo she had affectionately taken with another man.”

He continued, “I had thought that she was cheating on me with another man, and I could not seem to contact her. I had told everyone that we had broken up, but it turns out everything was just a huge misunderstanding.”

Much to everyone’s relief, however, the singer explained that everything was back to normal. “We had a long talk, and we resolved all the misunderstandings,” he said. “We are still going very strong today.”
