F.T. Island’s Seunghyun vows to never get nail art done again

Guitarist Seunghyun of F.T. Island remarked that his fellow members made him take up a fashion trend he was not interested in.

During an interview with OSEN that took place on September 5th, Seunghyun explained, “Hongki really likes to get his nails done so not that long ago, he took all of us to a nail salon before we shot our Japanese MV. Actually, it would be more appropriate to say that he dragged us there.”

“The biggest victim was myself,” Seunghyun added. “The person doing my nails drew silver spiders on them, and when I took a look after it was completed, there were a total of 11 spiders on my ten fingers. I experienced mental collapse,” evoking laughter.

Seunghyun further explained his experience stating, “During the filming for the MV, it turned out that my silver spiders were actually too sparkly, so we ended up editing them out with computer graphics. I disliked them so much that I went home and tried to take them off, but my own nail beds would pull along with it and they didn’t come off that well. I will never get my nails done again.”

Jaejin who was also with him added, “As for me, I went a few more times to get my nails done, and that was because Hongki hyung took me,” causing everyone to further burst out into laughter.

In related news, FT Island is getting ready to comeback with their full-length album ‘Five Treasure Box‘.

F.T. Island’s Seunghyun makes his musical debut on ‘Jack the Ripper’

F.T. Island’s Seunghyun has made his successful musical debut on ‘Jack the Ripper‘.

On the 8th, the young singer made his first performance as ‘Daniel’, and fans from Japan came to cheer him on. Japanese fans are reported to have filled the theater’s seats after taking photos with the posters of the musical featuring Seunghyun. The excitement escalated when the other members of F.T. Island came to the musical to support their fellow member.

On stage, Seunghyun performed alongside many other musical stars, showing  that his efforts preparing for the role have paid off.

After the show, Seunghyun commented, “Because this was my first stage, I was nervous, but once I got on stage I was fine. I felt stronger by having the other FT Island members there, and I think I finished my first performance immersed in [the character of] Daniel. I’m so thankful to all the fans who came to support me, especially to the fans from overseas. I hope to show you all a better performance from now on.”

Seunghyun will be performing on the 10th, 12th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 21st, and 23rd of this month. He will also be performing in Tokyo, Japan on September 19 and October 1 and 2nd.
