Lee Hyun Woo becomes endorsement model for clothing brand EVISU

Actor Lee Hyun Woo has been chosen as the new face of the casual clothing brand, Evisu.

Evisu has been receiving a lot of love from the younger audience for its casual yet unique, bold style. Lee Hyun Woo, who has been making a name for himself with his trendy style through dramas and programs, will be officially marked as a rising style icon with this endorsement.

The Evisu marketing team stated, “Lee Hyun Woo was chosen as the model because of his free yet trendy style that matches well with our target audience, which includes teens and young adults in their twenties. We expect to expand our customers and brand image through our contract with Lee Hyun Woo for he has already built a strong base of fans for his good looks and through his years of acting.”

After his brilliant acting in the drama ‘Equator Man’, Lee Hyun Woo has been receiving ‘love calls’ from other clothing brands as well as electronic, cosmetics, and food brands.

In related news, Lee Hyun Woo will be starring in SBS‘ new drama ‘To the Beautiful You‘, which will air its first episode on the 15th.

‘To the Beautiful You’ releases new group posters

SBS‘s upcoming drama ‘To the Beautiful You‘ has released a new set of posters featuring the cast!

The first poster features the leading cast members with Sulli at the front, and Minho, Lee Hyun Woo, Kim Ji Won, Seo Jun Young, Kang Ha Neul, and Kwanghee sitting around her at a picnic table with a beautiful ocean view in the backdrop. The poster is actually a depiction of the group’s resort vacation in episodes three and four.

Also of interest is the group’s vacation styling, as they’re all dressed in fresh summer looks with preppy pieces like cardigans and checkered shirts. The second group poster shows the entire cast of students including members of EXO dressed for physical education.

Producers stated, “We worked with a lot of different concepts to create a poster that would aptly show the colors of the characters, their relationships, and the drama itself. We’ll be releasing individual posters of the leading cast.”

‘To the Beautiful You’ releases photos from the first script reading

With anticipation rising for the drama, ‘To the Beautiful You‘ has unveiled a set of photos from their first script reading.

The reading took place back on July 7th at the SBS Ilsan Production Center and in attendance were Sulli, Minho, Lee Hyun woo, Kim Ji Won, Ki Tae Young, Lee Young Eun, Kang Kyung Jun, Seo Jun Young, Kwanghee, Kang Ha Neul, Lee Han Wee, Lee Ah Hyun, and Ahn Hye Kyung.

On this day, Sulli is said to have spoken in a lower tone to better fit the role of a girl who disguises herself as a guy, while Minho showed his hard working attitude as he concentrated on every word that the director and writer mentioned.

Lee Han Wee and Lee Ah Hyun showcased their leadership as they lead the hoobae actors throughout the reading, while also livening up the atmosphere.

A representative from the drama team stated, “The cast of ‘To the Beautiful You’ is already working hard by coming together to produce a perfect drama… We believe that a great project can be produced through the meeting of the passion and intensity of the young actors and the experience of the older actors.”

The pilot episode will air in August.
