Super Junior’s Kangin reveals that he’s slimming down

Super Junior member Kangin has updated his Twitter and wrote a message to his followers stating, “I’m surviving keke.”

Along with the message, Kangin posted a picture of himself wearing a black hoodie and sitting inside a car. As the picture helps to highlight his nose and sharp jaw, it has been drawing the attention of netizens.

Compared to his slightly chubby appearance during Super Junior’s “Sexy, Free, & Single” comeback performances, Kangin now seems much more slender. He also appears rather exhausted, however, as he stares off to the side, perhaps indicating that he has been struggling with his return to the idol industry after his military service.

Netizens who have seen the picture have commented, “I’ve come to anticipate the day he returns to his debut appearance,” and, “He’s losing a lot of weight.”

Super Junior’s Ryeowook shares unreleased ‘Star Life Theater’ photo

Super Junior‘s Ryeowook tweeted on the 25th: “Unreleased photo from ‘Star Life Theater‘ with Super Junior’s Shindong, Ryeowook, Eunhyuk, and Kangin ^^,” along with the sparkling photo of the members above.

The members’ cute expressions as they huddled around cakes were captured during the KBS2 documentary program’s filming.

Fans commented, “I enjoyed watching your ‘Star Life Theater’ special,” and “Your expressions are adorable.”

Super Junior’s Leeteuk disciplined the members?

Super Junior leader Leeteuk shared a story about how he and Kangin put on a show for their fellow members to encourage discipline.

On the July 23rd episode of MBC‘s ‘Come to Play‘, Leeteuk explained, “Because Super Junior has a lot of members, we cannot let the team’s level of discipline fall. Right before our debut, I was worried about our state of discipline, and so I consulted Kangin.”

According to Leeteuk, he and Kangin agreed to set an example for the other members. After calling the Super Junior members to come together, he faced the group and said, “These days, our team’s sense of discipline has been falling apart.” He added, “It feels like it’s the hyungs’ fault. Kangin, come forward.” According to plan, Kangin came forward and said, “I will get hit.”

Leeteuk continued to reveal, “But then, suddenly, Yesung came forward and said, ‘Hyung, I will get hit too.‘ When I asked, ‘How many times do you want to hit him?’, Yesung replied, ‘I will as many times as you do’.” Apparently, the situation backfired on them and led the plan astray, causing Kangin a bit of embarrassment.

Leeteuk said, “After worrying [so much about our state of discipline], so I hit him three times.” He concluded, ”Later on, I said I was sorry to them both, and told them that if an opportunity arose in the future, they could hit me.”

Super Junior’s Yesung and Kangin pose together as ‘Two Woon’

Super Junior‘s Yesung tweeted on July 18th, “Wearing Y style glasses. It’s been a while since Two Woon,” along with the above photos of himself and Kangin.

“Two Woon” is a nickname for the duo, created by combining the second syllable of Kangin (Young Woon) and Yesung’s (Jong Woon) real names.

Fans commented, “They are both good looking,” and “Please come on variety shows together.”

Super Junior is currently actively promoting their newest single, ‘Sexy, Free & Single‘.

Eunhyuk’s mother cries upon seeing member Kangin

Super Junior member Eunhyuk‘s mother shed some tears upon seeing member Kangin.

On the July 17th episode of KBS‘s ‘Star Life Theatre’, Super Junior’s image as glamorous idols was taken away to reveal the hopes and dreams of the fearless members on the day prior to their ‘Super Junior Super Show’.

During this episode, the Super Junior boys visited member Eunhyuk’s house and were received warmly by Eunhyuk’s mother. Eunhyuk’s mother appeared especially pleased at the sight of member Kangin.

In fact, as soon as Kangin stepped into the house, tears began to form in Eunhyuk’s mother’s eyes. “Kangin has suffered so much. His heart must have gone through a lot,” she explained her emotional reaction, before adding on a cheerful note, “The fact that he’s so commendable and newly transformed now makes me really happy. I’m happy to think that he’s getting along very well with the other members.”

It’s nice to see Eunhyuk’s mother’s concern for Kangin, as it shows that not only does Kangin receive support from his fellow members, but from their families as well.
