BIG STAR holds first fan signing event

On July 29th, rookie idol group BIG STAR held their first fan signing ever at the ‘Music and Plus’ record store in the Hyundai Mall.

Currently on the rise with their “Hot Boy” debut, fans had been requesting for an opportunity to get close and personal with the boys for a while now. Fortunately, the boys were able to set aside their busy debut promotions and comply with the requests.

In contrast to their charismatic images on stage, the boys greeted their fans with bright, cheery smiles and made sure everyone had a memorable time.

Brave Entertainment shared pictures from the event with allthatkpops and commented, “We prepared this fan signing specially for the fans who had been requesting it. Starting with Seoul, we’ll be planning plenty of opportunities for fans to meet the boys.”

The fan signing and mini events will continue on to Busan on August 1st and Uijungbu on the 5th KST.

Big Star’s “Hot Boy” music video produced with a budget of 300 million won (~260k USD)

Boy group Big Star‘s music video for their debut track “Hot Boy” has been receiving a great deal of attention.

The music video for “Hot Boy” was revealed on July 12th through Brave Entertainment‘s official YouTube channel and has received numerous hits upon its release. The blockbuster worthy music video was created with three grand sets and a production cost of 300 million won (~$260,100 USD) and viewers expressed their awe by saying, “Is this a music video or a movie?,” “Above the scale compared to other rookies,” “The scene of them dancing in fire is so cool,” and “The performance of the Big Star members prevents me from looking away.”

Along with the impressive music video, the outfits that the members of Big Star are wearing in the music video have also been drawing attention. Big Star’s agency Brave Entertainment said, “For this album, the worldwide hottest brand items from Dolce, Versace, Chrome Hearts, Balmain, and Givenchy were used and Brave Brothers personally brought them from overseas. To bring out the image of a ‘hot boy’, clothing, shoes, and accessories were  all given much thought by Brave Brothers. His thought and care was amazing.”

On another note, Big Star’s debut track “Hot Boy” has been ranking fairly high on online music portal sites since its release and the boys started their official promotions with their debut stage on this weeks M! Countdown.

Big Star celebrates their debut stage with adorable selcas

Big Star recently released two adorable selcas of them celebrating their debut stage for “Hot Boy“.

The photos show Big Star showing off their glamorous cakes provided by their fans. Their happily cute expressions are a stark contrast to their charismatic debut performance shown on the latest broadcast of ‘M! Countdown‘.

Big Star’s leader FeelDog revealed his thoughts on his me2day, “We are so thankful to the fans for presenting us with these beautiful cakes and delicious rice cakes. Although we were nervous for our first debut stage, we gained strength from our fans who came out to support us!! Tune in for our ‘Music Bank‘ debut stage! We ask for your support!!!”

Fans commented, “Although you guys must have been nervous on your debut stage, your performance was awesome”, “I love your songs!”, and “Congrats on your debut!”
