T-ara’s Soyeon to return to the set of ‘Haeundae Lovers’

It has been revealed that T-ara‘s Soyeon will be making her return to the drama set of ‘Haeundae Lovers‘ on August 15th after recently being involved in a car accident.

On August 14th, a KBS drama representative revealed to MyDaily, “For now, Soyeon will be returning to the set on the 15th. We’re planning to continue the shoot as cautiously as possible.”

“If the film shoot on the 15th goes smoothly, there will be no problem with the broadcasts on the 20th and 21st. Soyeon’s reps as well as the staff members have no thoughts on dropping [her] from he series at this point.”

Soyeon was involved in a car accident on August 13th while traveling down to Busan to film her drama, where her vehicle slipped on the rainy road and hit the guard rail twice before flipping on its side. After receiving emergency treatment at a hospital in Gyeoungbuk, the singer was then transferred to a hospital in Seoul for a more thorough check up.

Core Contents Media revealed, “Although there are no major external injuries, there’s a chance that she may suffer from some of the after effects of the accident. Since it was a big accident, we’re closely monitoring her condition.”

T-ara members shed tears talking about their parents

Members of T-ara shed tears thinking about their parents on the July 25th broadcast of KBS‘ ’Yeo Yoo Man Man‘. They apologized to their parents for neglecting them due to the girls’ busy schedules.

Hyomin shed tears as she shared, “I’m not a bright, cheery daughter at home. My parents wait for me, and they must have a lot of questions, but resting is more important for me, so I didn’t talk to them much despite living with them.”

Jiyeon added, “When I go home, there are times when I close my door and say, ‘Don’t talk to me,’ because I get annoyed by my parents’ questions.” Soyeon‘s eyes were filled with tears as she revealed, “My mom keeps walking on eggshells around me more and more.”

In addition, the T-ara members discussed the difficulties they experienced as a girl group.

SISTAR’s Hyorin clears up misunderstandings regarding her informal speech

SISTAR member Hyorin‘s friendly speech has been misinterpreted to be impolite.

On the July 14th broadcast of KBS2‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘, girl groups SISTAR and T-ara were sharing the things they envied about one another.

T-ara’s Soyeon remarked, “SISTAR’s healthy tans are really attractive, I am really envious of their toned figures.”

Responding to this, Hyorin then informally blurted, “You can tan, then“, creating some controversy amongst viewers.

In Korea, formal speech is used between two individuals in society, especially in front of the camera on broadcast television programs. Therefore, Hyorin’s speech had come across as impolite.

Hyorin explained herself saying, “I was just talking to myself, and I think that caused unintentional misunderstandings.”

However, most netizens didn’t seem to think it was a big deal, as they wrote, “I guess the two groups are close“, “Hyorin gave a rather cool response“, “I am envious of Hyorin’s figure too“, and more.

T-ara’s Soyeon & Boram look like dolls in latest selca

Though T-ara‘s latest comeback title “Day by Day” is filled with sorrow and angst, group members Soyeon and Boram couldn’t look more innocent and sweet in their latest selca!

Posted above, the two ladies are splitting images of two dolls in this self-taken photo with their wide eyes and iridescent skin. The brunette and raven are both dressed in matching cream sequined tops, suggesting that this photo was taken backstage during a filming event.

Will T-ara promote as units?

T-ara, who have recently become an 8 member group shared their thoughts regarding promoting as units.

During the press conference for their fanclub inauguration ceremony on July 14th the members said, “A lot of people ask us about whether or not T-ara will form unit groups and promote.  Currently there are no plans for that.”

A lot of girl group members have been doing some solo work or breaking into units and T-ara’s member Soyeon said, “We know that a lot of our peers in the girl groups are going solo or doing some unit work, but T-ara is too busy promoting all together,” with a smile.

She continued, “That is why we do not have any plans to promote as a unit.  As we are now an 8 member group and have a fresh new concept, we need to adapt to that and plan to show what we can do together.”

On this day, T-ara, who have already debuted three years ago, had their inauguration ceremony for their fanclub ‘QUEEN’S‘ and greeted their fans.

T-ara released a new mini album on July 3rd after nine months titled ‘Day by Day‘ and showed that they grew and matured a bit and with their performances. They are once again receiving a lot of attention from their fans.
