GLAM expresses their excitement over their “Party (XXO)” debut stage

On the July 19th episode of Mnet‘s ‘M! Countdown‘, rookie girl group GLAM finally held their debut stage with their title track, “Party (XXO)“.

After heading up on stage, the girls met up with reporters in their waiting room backstage for a brief interview discussing their excitement. The girls began, “We had our debut stage today. Instead of being nervous, it felt like we were playing a game.”

Jinny added, “I’ve always liked games like finding what’s wrong with the other picture. While rehearsing for our stage, I noticed that there’s a red light on the cameras. It was really fun trying to spot out the cameras while performing on stage.” With a laugh, she confidently stated, “I think it’s getting more and more fun the more we perform.”

Dahee also expressed, “2AM and PD Bang Shi Hyuk gave us a lot of advice and support. The 2AM seniors always told us to don’t get nervous and to enjoy it as much as possible whenever they saw us. It helped a lot.”

IU & GLAM selected as the next spokesmodels for open market, ’11st’

Rookie girl group GLAM along with singer IU have become the newest spokesmodels for SK Planet‘s open market ‘11st‘.

Girl group 2NE1 who have been the face for 11st for three long years have stepped aside to offer the spokesmodel position to the nation’s little sister IU.

11st reported on July 16th, “We have selected IU as the main model, thanks to her musical talents and mainstream appeal.”

“Just as we have developed an image of the market’s top brand, we feel we can strengthen our image as a premium shopping mall through our partnership with IU,” 11st continued.

In addition to IU, 11st has also selected GLAM as their exclusive models. Created by hit producer Bang Shi Hyuk, GLAM is made up of members Miso, Trinity, Zinni, Dahee, and Park Jiyeon.

The girls released their debut album on July 16th, and they have drawn in more popularity after featuring in their very own ‘Real Music Drama GLAM‘.

Furthermore, member Miso has previously been acknowledged for her talent on ‘Birth Of A Great Star‘, and she stills holds down her loyal fan base.

A representative from 11st explained why they chose GLAM saying, “GLAM will become the next top female idols after 2NE1.”

They continued, “After we confirm our heightened status by working with IU, we will strategically plan collaboration activities with GLAM and release merchandise accordingly.”
