Why Kwang Hee Keeps His Forehead Covered Up

Kwang Hee poured money into getting his forehead fixed, but still continued to cover it up with his bangs after.

More confessions of the idol star’s ventures into plastic surgery were made on the July 18 broadcast of MBC’s Radio Star.

The episode also featured the baseball commentator Lee Byung Hoon as well as comedians Baek Jae Hyun and Kim Young Chul in a ‘Real Brave Guys’ special.



The MCs asked Kwang Hee why he has bangs when he had received surgery on his forehead. Kwang Hee answered honestly, “It looks too artificial because it bulges too much.”

Everyone on set then asked him to reveal his forehead for them to decide. Kwang Hee hesitated at first, saying, “I didn’t get the hair [around it] removed recently. I need to do it every so often,” but then lifted his bangs to reveal the forehead in question.

He said that his forehead looks great, but it looks so artificial it’s like the forehead of someone who has a Chinese pigtail. He then added, “Still, I remove the hair to open it up in the summer. I received surgery on my forehead because it was so narrow.”

We hope his forehead gets some face time this summer because it actually looks pretty nice!
