T-ara Contracted Businesses Scramble to Find Solutions

Following the shocking announcement of Hwa Young’s release from Core Contents Media, it wasn’t just the fans who were scrambling around, but also the commercialized businesses who have been working with T-ara.

With all the criticism that has been rising with the Hwa Young – T-ara controversy, businesses such as Tony Moly, Dae Woo Securities, and Look Optical, who are all using T-ara as their spokesmodels, are all scrambling to find solutions to handle the mess.

Tony Moly, where Ham Eun Jung is currently a model for, said that her contract with the company will be finished by the end of August. “There will be no contract renewal.”

Outdoor clothing brand, Wild Roses, also said on July 31 that there are still about eight months left of T-ara’s contract with the brand.

“There is some time left for the contract period, but as this is a very sensitive time, we are working with T-ara’s company to find a plan.”

As more and more people are boycotting T-ara, companies are slowly removing T-ara from their store windows and websites.

About the situation, netizens commented “If Hwa Young is out of the group, is she out of commercials as well?” “It must be tough for the advertising companies” and “Is T-ara becoming the next Nichkhun?”
