Orange Caramel to Release 1st Japanese Single With Remake of Japanese Girl Group Song

The After School sub-unit group, Orange Caramel, is looking to bring its charm to Japan this fall.

Pledis Entertainment revealed the quirky trio would be releasing its first Japanese single on September 5.

The group’s debut Japanese single will be a remake of the popular forner Japanese girl group Candies and its popular 1977 hit My Sweet Devil. The single album will also include the Japanese version of Orange Caramel’s Magic Girl.




The Japanese single will mark Orange Caramel’s first overseas activity and the group plans to make its entrance into other music markets in Asia following Japan.

The group previously revealed the group may adopt the name Chengzi Jiao Tang (橙子焦糖) in its future activities in China.
