Bang Si Hyuk’s self-produced girl group GLAM postponed the release of its debut single Party (XXO) music video.
Party was released on July 16, but the music video wasn’t released at the same time as the single, which is usual for other rookies.
The reason the music video’s release was postponed was because the production team is still trying to perfect the special effects to appear in the video.
Bang Si Hyuk told enews on July 17, “We’re only thinking of perfecting the quality of the video; we don’t care about the dates or the costs. Because the special effects are the main point of the music video, it’s taking a longer time to perfect than we originally thought.”
He added, “I hope the music video turns out to be one that the fans and GLAM can be proud of.”
GLAM did release four stills from the music video for its fans soon after the announcement was made.
The music video, which cost a whopping 150 million won in special effects alone, will be released on July 19.
GLAM plans to debut on broadcast with a performance on the July 19 broadcast of Mnet’s M Countdown.
