BoA to Comeback on July 22 With Self-Penned Track, ‘Only One’

BoA is making her grand return.

On July 16, BoA confirmed speculations that she would be making her music comeback later this month by tweeting, “Song release on July 22 and album release on July 25!!! BoA’s seventh album, Only One… please be looking forward to it ^^ (-; It’s finally coming out~~~~~ hehe.”

Fans were also excited to hear that the title song Only One was self-penned and self-composed by BoA, indicating her transition from singer to singer-songwriter.






A representative for SM Entertainment shared, “BoA’s recent appearances on television and magazine have made everything from her makeup, hair and wardrobe an issue and has made her a style icon. We also predict BoA’s style for the new album will become a hot issue.”

The track Only One will be unveiled online on July 22 with the album’s hard copies available for purchase beginning on July 25. Only One will mark BoA’s first new album since her 2010 Hurricane Venus.
