Yoon Do Hyun to Host ‘K-Pop Star’ Again

Yoon Do Hyun will again be stepping up for K-Pop Star as its host.

The singer was chosen to host the upcoming new season of SBS’ audition program K-Pop Star, a decision following his previous feats on the show in its first season.

Yoon Do Hyun first revealed that he will be hosting K-Pop Star in an episode of SBS’ One Night of TV Entertainment. The episode showed Yang Hun Suk, Park Jin Young and BoA get together for a meeting as the judges of K-Pop Star, along with news about the first season’s winner Park Ji Min in training.

When partner MC Sooyoung asked whether the MC would also be the same since the same judges would appear in the show’s second season, Yoon Do Hyun answered, “Let’s say of course,” imitating a catchphrase from the drama A Gentleman’s Dignity, and added that “it’s the first time I’ve announced this anywhere.”

The preliminaries for K-Pop Star’s second season have drawn five times the number of people they did for the show’s first season.
