Tajinyo Members Appeal to Higher Court

Two of the sentenced from We Want the Truth from Tablo (Tajinyo) turned in appeals to take the case to a higher court.

According to the Seoul Central District Court, one member turned in an appeal on July 10, while another followed suit on July 11.

The two had each been sentenced to 10 months in prison in the final hearing held on July 6.

Requests for appeals must be turned in within seven days of the final trial to the court. The two thus came forth to turn in appeals just five days after their sentences were passed, continuing the legal processions that seemed to have come to an end.

The Tajinyo members accused by Tablo were sentenced on July 6. Three were ultimately sentenced to 10 months in prison and put under court custody, while six were given two-year probations for prison sentences that ranged from eight to 10 months.
